What to look for in a used 5-wood
- A 5-wood (about 18°) is one of the easiest long clubs to hit, often easier than a 3-wood or a long iron.
- Check that it fits between your 3-wood and your longest hybrid or iron, about 3° from each.
- Look for dents in the crown and a loose ferrule. Sole scratches don't affect how it plays.
How we picked
Every club here is a real model we track across official store feeds and eBay. We rank them on how forgiving they are, how recent the design is, and how much you save compared with the launch price. Prices are the typical used price as of 2026-10-04. Stores may pay us a commission, which never changes the order.
