The best used 3-woods to fight a slice

These 3-woods are built with a draw bias: weight and face angle set up to help close the face, so a slice curves less. They won't fix a swing on their own, but they make the miss smaller.
- 1Best overall
TaylorMade Qi35 Max 3-wood

The most forgiving Qi35 fairway, built for easy, high launch with a slight draw bias. Draw-biased, so it helps straighten a slice. Launches high, which helps slower swings carry farther.
- 2Best value
Callaway Rogue ST Max 3-wood

Four years old and still very forgiving, at a third of new. Draw-biased, so it helps straighten a slice. Launches high, which helps slower swings carry farther.
- 3Most forgiving
Cleveland Launcher XL Halo 3-wood

Hybrid-like shape that makes fairway woods easy. Draw-biased, so it helps straighten a slice. Launches high, which helps slower swings carry farther.
What to look for in a used 3-wood
- A higher-lofted 3-wood (15° to 16.5°) is much easier to hit off the fairway.
- Shallow faces launch the ball more easily from the ground.
- Look for dents in the crown. Sole scratches don't affect how it plays.
How we picked
Every club here is a real model we track across official store feeds and eBay. We rank them on how forgiving they are, how recent the design is, and how much you save compared with the launch price. Prices are the typical used price as of 2026-10-04. Stores may pay us a commission, which never changes the order.
